Horticultural Mobile Plant Operator Position

We require Horticultural Mobile Plant Operator to join out multi-faceted farming operation. Applications will need to show proof of at least 2 years experience as a Mobile Plant Operator in a Horticulture setting.

Job tasks:

- Operate tractor-drawn implements to plough land and sow, fertilise, cultivate and harvest crops and avoid damaging crops

- Operate tractor-drawn implements such as for weed control and spraying and to do so in accordance with safety and agricultural regulations

- Adjust speed, height and depths of implements

- Keeps log tallies and writes work reports

- Services machinery and performs minor repairs

- Operate forklifts where required

- Operate trucks and heavy machinery where required

Preferred Qualifications:

- Car drivers license

- Heavy vehicle drivers license

- Agricultural chemical user permit

- Licence to drive a heavy rigid vehicle

- Forklift Licence

Salary: $76,515 - $90,000

Hours: 38 per week
